Bishop Assumes Command of 224th Support Squadron
Lt. Col. Paul Bishop, right, an Oriskany resident, takes the 224th Support Squadron guidon from Col. John Balbierer, the 224th Air Defense Group Commander, during a ceremony Friday afternoon at the Eastern Air Defense Sector. The symbolic assumption of command was witnessed by more than 100 New York Air National Guardsmen, family and friends who attended the ceremony. Chief Master Sgt.
