Adam Earns German Armed Forces Award
Staff Sgt. Caleb Adam, right, received the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) gold award from Col. Paul Quigley, Commander, 224th Air Defense Group, during a promotion and awards ceremony on Nov. 28 at the Eastern Air Defense Sector in Rome. Airmen earn the badge by passing a strenuous test composed of physical fitness and military skills evaluations. Staff Sgt. Adam’s high score earned him the gold award, which is the badge’s highest honor.
