1AF DET 3 DIVERS TRAIN FOR ARTEMIS II ENSURING ASTRONAUT SAFETY THROUGH JOINT EFFORTS AND PARTNERSHIPS

Divers from the 1st Air Force Detachment 3, along with NASA astronauts and USN EODGRUONE, underwent specialized training from February 3-14, 2025. The training focuses on handling the Orion Crew Module and providing specialized medical care to the astronauts once they have landed. This training is part of the preparations for the upcoming Artemis II mission, aiming to ensure astronaut safety and efficient recovery operations.
